Taste of Texas is back!
Our annual community celebration will be held Saturday, September
18th through Sunday, September 19th in conjunction with the
Texas Township Fire Department Fire Prevention Open House.
The event will be located at the intersection of Q Avenue
and 8th Street. It is open to the public and will feature
tasty food, activities for kids of all ages, live music, and
plenty of fun! Profits from this exciting event will be donated
to local youth camps in Texas Township.
Parking will be available at area parks and designated locations
near 8th St and Q Ave. Participants and attendees are asked
not to park at local businesses so that their customers may
still reach them easily.
Taste of Texas offers an excellent opportunity to proudly
display your business name in support of our community. Please
consider sponsoring and participating in this fun-filled event.
New for 2010: Ticket Sales
Tickets will be sold to the public throughout the event. Visitors
may then use these tickets to purchase food items or participate
in various activities. All vendors selling items on the main
event grounds are encouraged to specify how many tickets it
takes for visitors to purchase food or other items from you.
Cash sales will be permitted at the Craft Show.
